Korean food lovers or Korean drama lovers would definitely know what kimchi is.
well, good news! You don't have to fly over to Korea just to eat Kimchi, you can DIY at home!
There are a lot of tutorials found online about how to make Kimchi, and they might differ from how we do it at home. but this is just the flavour we're looking for!
Nevertheless, here you go!
What you need:
1. Fish sauce ( i forgot to take a photo of it) ><
2. Korean chili powder. I got this from ta kiong in bintulu. About half a pack will do with 6kgs of Bak choy.
3. Bak choy, washed then soaked in salt water for about 20 minutes
4. Spring Onion, chopped.
5. Carrot, sliced.
6. Radish, sliced.
7. Onion, garlic, chili, ginger.

Mix in the chili powder and fish sauce
place the bak choy in a container
with some carrots, radish and spring onion.
make it like a layer. *look at photo
then put some of the chili mixture on the bak choy.
after that place some bak choy, radish and spring onions on top and repeat till your ingredients are all inside
p/s: not necessary to be in one big container though.

It will look like this in the end.
Seal the container, and let it set for about 3 hours.
Then place them inside the refrigerator.
Your kimchi will be ready approx. 4 days after.

the taste are all in the bak choy then.
